My Battle with Diet Coke
I, somehow, became a serious Diet Coke drinker over the years. For 2 reasons basically. One being that sugar really fucks me up. I'm hyper on air alone and don't need much to give me a boost. Secondly because it was cheap and free when I worked at McDonalds in my youth. So these days I drink on average 64+ ounces of stuff. Sometimes It will give me a head ache (no its not the caffeine as there is about 40 grams per 8 ounce where as coffee is about 240 grams per 8 ounce)

Now that I'm older I find that I rely on the stuff for no particular reason. I will drive out of my way to get a Diet Coke, like some addict. Some morning I wake up and think "Ok so I'll have breakfast and then I'll go to work and at 11:30 I'll get a Soda…" I began to plan my days around it. Here where I work, I can get a 32 Oz. Diet Coke for $1.

So I drink 2 a day, that $10 a week, $40 a month, $480 a year, in 10 years that like Hmm lets do the math, $4.7 Million Dollars! and thats not including the the gallons I drink on my days off!!

So as a person I like to be in control, so i decided to kick the habit, take control of my obsession.

So I went cold turkey, whatever the fuck that means. Why not Cold Ham or Luke Warm Toast, Who the frig is Luke, and why is he associated with warm. It lasted 4 days, Not bad i thought, but gay as it was I knew it would not last.

So I had one the other day, Monday at Wal-Mart. Yeah I know F- Wal-Mart but their cereal is like $3 cheaper then the local supermarket.

Then I realized that going Cold Oilve Loaf is not the way it works. You have to slowly ween your way off of shit. So i have decided to cut down to 1 a day and NONE while I'm at work. So far so good. Let see where this goes.

Ok, so it looke like I can finally get back into this.
Yeah yeah yeah I'm not redesigning the site just yet either, thank you.
Just too much to do in my spare time. Here is a riddle that I heard that will keep you busy till my next post.
